We often think the best time to get senior pictures is during the late spring and summer months. However, that is not always the case, especially if you are currently a junior in high school or a senior who is a little late to the party. While yearbooks may have already closed for senior photo submissions, you can still get photos, even during the holidays for you and your family. Or, if you are a junior, you can get your session over and done with and be ready to go for next year!
Why Senior Photos Over the Holidays?
The holidays, and even this winter season, provide a different background for you. If you love winter or even winter sports, this coulsd be an ideal time to capture that side of your personality and have it reflected in your senior pictures.
Also, if your fashion sense is one that leans more toward sweaters or long coats versus sundresses and short sleeves, then our outdoor sessions, nowadays, can better suit your style (pun intended).
Lastly, come the summer months, we get heavily booked, and spots fill up very fast. During the holiday months, slots for senior pictures tend to be a little more open and less competitive to get.
Stand Out from the Crowd
While many senior pictures are photographed in the summer, with sun-filled backgrounds and lots of greenery, there is something unique about the sunlight during the holiday and winter months. Perhaps it is the angle of the sun that creates vibrant blue skies even with snow on the ground that make unique and spectacular images. If your senior photos are taken during the holiday months with snow, they will be one-of-kind and jump off the yearbook page.
A Holly Jolly Good Time
If you have not had a session at Monty Nuss, then you are in for a treat. We love to rock out during our senior sessions with music. But, with the holidays, images captured while “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” are blaring are very special!
We do hope that you will take advantage of this time and get your senior pictures. To schedule, call 303-798-8229, or go online.
